Beam Me Up

V-Beam Pulse Dyed Laser that is.  Yup, I am finally getting around to trying laser treatment for my advanced rosacea.  I actually had laser recommended to me by a dermatologist 8 years ago, but I couldn't afford the big price.  Thankfully, prices have come down a lot since.  I've found a doctor's office I like (facial surgeon) and the treatments are being done by the physician assistant in the office.  I feel very safe.

I had my first treatment yesterday and it went well.  I prefer a conservative approach (multiple treatments at lower setting vs. few treatments at high setting) and there was almost no pain.  My face is a little redder then usual today, but no worse than I usually look after having been out at sea.  My next treatment is in 3 weeks.

I've finished all my Mychelle samplers and these are my favorites (and what I've now purchased):
Honeydew Cleanser (unscented)
Fruit Enzyme Mist
Capillary Calming Serum
Fabulous Eye Cream
I use all the above everyday, morning and night.
Deep Repair Cream Unscented - in the morning
Revitalizing Night Cream Unscented - in the evening
I like all these peels as samples(not too strong for me), but haven't purchased any yet:
Incredible Pumpkin Peel
Fruit Fiesta Peel
Hydrating Cactus Mask
I have also tried the cream foundation and cream eyeshadow and like both.

As to sunscreen, I still LOVE the Mychelle sunscreen, but it is only SPF 28, so I am still looking for something stronger.  Right now I am testing Neutrogena Sensitive Skin SPF 60.  So far, so good (not breaking me out and not greasy), but it gives my skin a whitish cast, therefore I've been wearing foundation (why I tried out the Mychelle cream foundation).  It feels strange wearing makeup for the first time in my life, but I've got to start protecting my skin.
