New Year and all that

I've been super busy with work and home life and realized that I've totally let the blog go.  Do I have a real excuse...nope.  Just Life.

So what have I been doing.  Well, a little knitting, no spinning, and almost no weaving.  And this makes me sad.  I did, however, make a big push on getting caught up on photobook and scrapbook projects for the girls.  L2 now has her own book so she doesn't feel like she is being left out.

Funny things the girls have been doing.  L1 is 6, nearly 7, and is going on 13 I think.  Lots of attitude, but still sweet and loving.  We had some problems in the fall with lying and being disruptive at school, but after loads of talks (and loss of some prvilages) she has really turned herself around. Her biggest issue is just being a social butterfly - always talking and wanting attention. She definitely has a love-hate relationship with her sister.  She can't wait to do things without L2 then immediately misses her when she does!  She wants a guitar for her birthday (that would make 3 instruments she plays), and justs seems to be growing up so fast.

L2 is a little spitfire at 3, and full of sayings.  She has a cold and tells everyone she is full of "BlessYous" aka sneezes.  She cracked me up the other day when a grownup (my Chiropractor) started talking to her about bones.  She cocked her head to one side and informed him once he stopped talking "I don't know what you are saying!"  She also wants to know why she wasn't born in China like her sister (because that is apparently WAY better than coming out of mommy's belly).
