I used to buy a LOT of yarn. I managed to curb that bad habitat...by buying lots of fiber. I now have lots of yarn AND lots of fiber. I've become more experienced over the years and now make, I think, better decisions when it comes to buying fiber and yarn. I don't just buy one skein of something because it's pretty and 'I'm sure I'll find something to do with it," or buy a load of stuff in a color, texture, or fiber type I don't usually care for because "It's on sale!' I've learned I really don't need a lot of wool stuff in the deep south. I have purchased almost no yarn or fiber in 6-8 months, but I still have tons of stash. Therefore, I've been trying to stash bust with my knitting and weaving.
My stash busting is starting to leave me un-inspired. I getting tired of looking at the same old stuff. I need to get my mojo back WITHOUT spending a bunch of money on new yarn. Maybe I should go spend some time on ravelry?
Here is a pic of the girls I took while visiting
