The down side is there will be a number of projects planned for the year long class that I will not be able to do on my rigid heddle loom. I can use the guild looms for practice though, and even if I can't weave the projects myself I will enjoy learning the process and seeing what others have done. Our first class project will focus on how color and texture affect weaving (look for pictures to come).
I have also warped my loom for weaving napkins with the 2-ply hemp I spun.

As you see I have 2 heddles setup. Since I thought bamboo and hemp napkins would be nice, my warp is Aunt Lydia's Bamboo Crochet Thread that I've warped at 16 epi using two 8 dent heddles. I'll be using my handspun as the weft. My plan is to weave 4 tabby napkins. This was my first time warping 2 heddles and it was really easy. I used the figure from Sara Lamb's book (Woven Treasures) as my guide and I didn't have any problems.

That just looks so... professional and wow. The only time I tried weaving as an adult I made such a mess of it that I can't help being impressed by how tidy yours looks!
