Above is a work-in-progress. A pair of Knucks knit in my own handspun. Knucks is an interesting pattern because you knit the fingers first, then knit your way down to the wrist. It is also very easy to follow, I'd recommend this pattern if you're looking for an easy, straightforward fingerless glove.
My handspun fiber was purchased from two different etsy sellers. The colorful yarn on the hand is a high-energy single I spun from a 2 oz mix (Alpaca, merino, falkland, punta, romney, jacob, cotswold, leicester, mohair, bamboo, angelina, firestar, silks - sari/waste/tussah) batt from Fiber Fancy with some mohair locks mixed in for texture:
This was a wonderful batt to spin on my Rose. I was a little worried because of all different fibers, but it spun easily (well blended). I found out about Fiber Fancy through the PhatFiber sampler which is a great way to try different fibers and etsy vendors.
The fiber I'm using for the wrist was spun from a 2 oz. batt I purchased from Giffordable:

I also spun this single on my Rose. This batt was an interesting mix of Shetland wool in oatmeal shades, bamboo and organic green cotton. It is soft, warm, and yummy. I really like it on my wrist.
L1 has requested a pair for herself. I'm thinking I just might have enough handspun to do a child's fingerless mitten once I finish with my gloves.
