Meagan

Dear Meagan,
You will be missed. My heart breaks for Ava and Jeff. I so wished you had lived to see Ava first's birthday.
Love,
Cindy

Did I mention...

I have a loom! That's right, I bought a Schacht 15" Flip rigid heddle loom. It's so much fun, and it powers through yarn! I am using up a ton of sock yarn, that I have purchased over the years and will never have the time to turn into socks, to make scarves. Between the loom and the wheel I have really been enjoying the fiber lately.

Here is some of the fiber I've spun:

Singles
Top - Gifforables shetland wool, cotton and bamboo blend bottom
Bottom - Zebisis silk
Both are singles

Breast Cancer Awareness

This video is just f-ing awesome!

FYI, a friend of mine is currently fighting stage 4, triple-negative breast cancer. She was diagnosed in June with a primary breast tumor and smaller tumor in her liver. As of last month it has now spread to most of her bones and organs. Her time is short. One year ago she defended her PhD and two weeks later gave birth to her first child (a little girl). That's right, she is 33 years old, just finished her PhD, and had a six month old baby when diagnosed. Her daughter turns 1 on Dec 29, we are all hoping she will live to see her baby's first birthday.
