Cutting Teeth

I'm glad to say that I finally know why L2 has been so miserable for the past week. She is cutting 8 (yes, eight) teeth all at the same time. I knew last week that she was working on the top two canines, but this morning I got my finger in and checked all over. She's working on all 4 canines AND her first 4 molars. No wonder that past week has been so terrible. It feels like all but one have cut through the surface and the last one just has a thin layer on it. I sincerely hope she starts to feel better soon!

Sad about Knits

Confession - I've fallen out of love with Interweave Knits. This used to be my favorite knitting magazine. It was stylish, pretty, a mix of difficulties - something for everyone. I haven't bought any issues in over a year now. Some of the sweaters are pretty enough, but the sizes available are limited and everything feels more geared towards a younger crowd (or am I just getting older!). Anyway, I was not even tempted by the winter issue and it made me sad.
